Jimmy Sierra Coin Popper tool

With all the coin popping preferences I've been reading from an earlier post about using turf holers (Home made coin popper - nice!), I wonder what the take is on the Jimmy Sierra Coin Popper tool (lower item in this pic):

I own one, but haven't used it much - I find it somewhat hard to lose contact with my ol' trusty and well worn modified screwdriver. At first I didn't really know how to use it, until I recently revisited Jimmy's web site and saw that there is tutorial sheet on its proper use located here:

How to use your coin popper

Actually took me a while to decipher what those instructions were trying to indicate, but after doing the mime thing for a bit I figured it out.

Has anybody here become so accomplished using this tool that you tossed your old screwdriver to the side for good? If I work at it long enough will I find this tool to be the best thing since sliced bread?

Here's how to use your trusty screwdriver. Probe for the coin and leave the probe in the ground to mark the coin, then slide the tip of your screwdriver down alongside the coin and past it an inch or so, then pull your probe out and lay the handle up against the shaft of the screwdriver as a fulcrum, then push down on the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow. You can buy a gizmo like that Popper at any garden shop for a lot less.

Try a gasket scraper, much larger surface to get under the object being popped, works like a charm everytime.
