I went to the "hot spot" today. The first thing I saw when I dropped down was a jellyfish casually cruising past my face, about 10 inches away.
The water was pretty cold too. I saw a number of other divers wearing light suits get in for five minutes, then leave.
I had a 6 mil dry suit on, it was warm, except for the water trickling down the back of my neck. BRRRRR.
I hunted for about a half hour, maybe forty five minutes. Got one dime, and three sinkers.
The water was nice and clear, but just too cold to stay in for very long. The jellyfish were moving around me more than I cared for too.
Oh well, back to the wet sand.
