I was reading a guy's post on sea Island Ga. about a month ago and the things he found. It is next to Jekyll. Jekyll is more public friendly, in my opinion. So there should be some open area's to Md. Check with the locals for sure. I use to swim at both places. I have family in the area. I know that didn't directly answer your question. Just go by the general rules of MDing on a beach. Good luck
