Jarvis CT Copper?

Cootie

New member
Not all coins are found with a metal detector. A friend of mine bought a jar full of mixed coins. His neighbor had some jars of old coins and asked my friend if he would like to buy one. My friend noticed several silver dollars in one of the jars and thought it would be worth the gamble. When he got home and went through the jar he got a big surprise.
How about a 1787 CT Copper and an 1877 IH penny. Anyone know what the CT copper might be worth?

2011 Red Book has it at $50.00 in good cond., $85.00 in very good, $140.00 Fine, $400.00 very fine, $900.00 in extremely fine and $1750.00 AU ( about uncirculated ). I would send that awesome coin in to have it graded and encapsulated. Nice find, Joe.
