It almost reminds me of being back home in OK, where Iusually could hunt all winter long. You've got me beat on old coins so far, as I've only found one silver dime and 7 Wheat's this year.

Hey Allen looks like Ive spoken to soon the weather has taken a turn for the worse. Sunday I got 8 more silver coins and 2 Indians at a Detroit park we've been hitting plus 2 mercs 3 Washington quarters, silver war nickel a 1920-s standing liberty quarter and a 1892-s Barber dime in good shape, 14 Wheaties and a 1924 buffalo. Done good at this place all year my 14 year old son found 2 barber halfs the same day. well hope for good weather take care

Man, and I thought Jackson parks were loaded, or that the local competition doesn't like digging in trash.

I'm not really surprised about the weather, and it looks like the next couple of days will be getting back into the 40's. Looks like I'll be headed back out into the woods. I know the spot I found a Wheat at has a lot of shallow clad in one area, but I was looking for the deeper, older, stuff. Maybe I'll go back.
