January 19th - Silver and Buddha

Went to a nearby town yesterday to try to help out a company that makes pipeline tape - they were looking for rolls that might have staples in them by using a detector- unfortunately, the tape is impregnated with wax that is mixed with aluminium powder - every roll sounded off! Oh well, I tried. Since I was near a park I've hunted a lot in the past - with my detector in the truck - I decided to stop and swing for a while. I'm glad I did - the weather was great and most of the grass was soft enough to dig. I ended up with 6 wheats, my first Indian of the year (1900), 4 Mercs (20, 25, 38 and 41) and a little lead Buddha that was quite deep.

A nice prescription of coins Doc.

Great hunt Doc!!

Wish I could grab all that in one hunt!!

Congrats!!

Never seen a Buddha like that before... was there any writing or anything on the back?

Nothing on the back except a geometric pattern - hmmmm....
