Hi All:
While out detecting this morning we saw thousands of these creatures strewn across the beach, brought in by the high winds and big waves. So we thought we would do a little research, and find out what they were.

I have never heard of them and have to say, it is a great photo too. Love the colors and DOF
 
Looks like good sheepshead bait to me.. They love em, and I love Sheephead. Nice photo
