I have been waiting to gather something worth while to post for this month. Started with a 14k white gold band on the 6th. Silver ring and silver pendent 10th. 14k gold jesus pendent on the 12th.
Today, the holyist of all.
I had a few hours to burn so I went to a school looking for some gold
& silver jewelry, mostly clad.
Digging mostly 25 cent pieces and nickles and low vdi numbers looking for gold, selective digging.
Well I got this massive vdi number and dug this wagon wheel disk "Holy Moly" it a Morgan dollar 1903s.
Wow, I never thought I would find a morgan at a school field.
I haven't found a silver coin since my barber half 1907 about 2 months ago.
Unfortunately she has a big scare on her face but I love her like my first love.
Almost forgot the silver 925 bracelet and Philippine coin under sovereignty of the US.
Take care Boxtopp........

A silver dollar is one coin that is on everyones list of the ultimate finds. These do take you a bit by surpise when you see these big silvers comming out of the ground.
Looks like your other finds have been nice too and i sure wish we were able to get out, but right now it is 26 beleow zerro where we are.
Great finds and hope to see a lot more great finds posted by you.
Rick

That is one of the "Key Date Coins" in the Morgan series. If it weren't for the scratch it'd be worth some good $$$.... But even in that condition, it's worth a $100 or so.

Silver $ is my favorite coin even above gold---For me anyway
