Jamestown, Virginia - Silver Coins

Me and father went out to Jamestown, Virginia near a friends house and found these old coins in a field. Found alot of flat buttons as well, so far these are oldest I have found with my dad although he did find a 1600ish pieces of eight I believe its called.

Just thought I'd share. Excuse the images, im a newbie at photo taking.

Ya I plan on going back out this weekend with my pops, he really wants to take his time working the entire area. I was surprised when I seen these, I thought they were just mercury dimes.

Armydude757.Nice finds. I am new to this sight but you gave me a chuckle. I met my wife at Fort Eustis, I retired from the army, my wife is still in, and we were both members of the 757 Rail BN. PJ
 
WISH WE HAD OLD OLD SILVER JUST LIKE THAT AROUND HERE, NICE FIND ARMY. :clapping:
