I HUNTED W/METALDIG+BOB WE GOT A REALLY HOT FIELD FROM 1700'S TO HUNT WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE BEACH ACTION TO GET BETTER. WE GOT..BARBER'S,INDIAN'S WHEATS,STANDING LIB'S AND SOME NEAT RELIC'S,BUTTONS ALSO SOME NEWER SILVER PLUS SOME UNIDENTFIED POSS OLD COPPER I'M GONNA TRY BEACH TUES IF IT SOUNDS LIKE SOME SAND HAS MOVED
 
Hey BH... sounds like you, Ron, and Metaldig had a great weekend!
I checked both Salisbury and Hampton this weekend... some sand movement at Hampton a little further down from your patch. A pretty big area to hunt.
I poked around for about an hour yesterday when the weather cleared and got a couple of cheapie earings and some really green clad.
Salisbury continues to puzzle me as it looks like sand was either taken out in some areas, or deposited in others.

Just a gold plated earing here and there and a small 10K pendant a couple of weeks ago. Still looking for that first gold ring... I know it's out there somewhere!
I've been learning my machine most of the winter and I'm just waiting for the warmer weather to bring the masses back to the beach. Spent my time scouting for some new locations also.
Heard you, George and Ron cleaned up over the weekend. Glad to hear that you had the chance to get out and do some hunting!
 
I'll look for some other place to hunt.
Sorry for the bad info... but there was a patch at Hampton last Sunday and as I've said Salisbury continues to confuse me.
