Went to Jamaica with my wife last week, Only found 3 gold rings and 2 silver rings but had a good time, place was hunted pretty a lot. Don Tyler
 
You did well in that hunt.
I was there at the end of March and hunted a public beach for about 2 hours.
Did not feel safe the natives were making comments " those rich guys from US/Canada come here and steal our gold "
Stayed at a bed and breakfast place next time will attempt a resort.
Beautiful country not geared to being to friendly to the tourist.
We stayed in the Runaway Bay area.
All inclusive I will try next time.
What part of the country were you in and did you find your rings in the sand or the water?
 
I stayed at the riu tropical in Negril, most of the time would not give out my place of hunt but place was hit real hard by other hunters, I keep my headphones n when passing the locals ,I tell them I can't hrear them. I hunt all in water with excal 1000
 
YUP! Been to Jamaica and only found 1 gold ring and 2 silvers in Montego Bay. Locals say too many hunters pass through from December until mid August. Not enough to go around.

Heard sometimes 5 to 6 people in a party show up to hunt. Wipe out everything and nothing left. Oh Well. Try some place different like PR
 
Pretty nice finds for just one week. Probably helped off set your vacation costs. Thanks for posting them. Rick IL
 
I should like to ask them about stealing.... Ofcourse they are poore many of them.
