Looks like it's in really good condition; just a little green and dirty. Do I dare try to clean it? I found my second wheat, a 1941 about a foot away.

I haven't found a wheatie in ages but then I have a jar full of them from years past from 1909 on up. Old coins out here are scarce as hens teeth.

Not S or S VDB. I'll try to get it a little cleaner, but it isn't looking too bad. I kind of like the green better anyhow. I found it under playground equipment that I had already checked when I was unknowingly having my "depth problems." I also found out where the local fairgrounds used to be. About 100 yards away from my front door! Too bad it's a swamp now. I guess I'll have to learn to swim.
