Jack McDevitt Books--for rainy days!

If you find yourself unable to treasure hunt I have read two books by Jack McDevitt that are about "Relic" hunting in the future. They are pretty cool with a good suspense to them. If you like sci fi and think it's funny that our drinking glasses would be highly valued 2000 years from now....check out Seeker and Polaris! Both have some murder to steal the good loot from the treasure hunters!!!

Well my current reading has been the Ace250 manual I downloaded from Garrett! LOL! So I'll already know how to use mine out of the box! :detecting: Something I've read on here says that the sensitivity right out of the box is usually too high, is that true for our area? I'm not sure how mineralized western pa is that it would affect the detector?
