But not by much!!....I'm looking for a good all around megapixel cam with at least semi macro or closeup and at least a 3X Zoom! Is a 2.0 megapixel a good resolution digital cam?...I'm looking in the price range of around $500.00 to $600.00...Come on, RM...Don't "DIS" me on this! I ain't no Pro! ...I want something that takes decent pics that I won't be disappointed with. A decent Cam that will make good prints, too! Sorry, if I sound like such a novice, but I am...hahaa

You can buy the camera outright without the overpriced battery, charger, smartmedia, compactflash, (Yep it has both and uses them simultanously). The link is below for just one of the sites I found selling it... I personally have never been happier. It focuses in dark with it's own infrared light.
Check it out... I would buy another in a heartbeat... Guvner..

And you get more than a 2 mega-pixel rez......
What are you doing Monday?
I'm going to Fells Point Monday just to hang out..

The image stabilized lens works wonders. 10X otical Zoom. AF assist lamp for low light shots.
If your not gonna print any bigger than 8X10's you want need all these extra megapixels. The C-2100 will rival many 3.3 megapixels camera's with it's great picture quality. Plus lots more and it can be had for 499.95
Follow the link to read a review on it.

Its own infrared light for focus in dark conditions. You can turn it on or off.
Very handy

What time will you be there? I can't get away from work before 3:30 or 4:00 PM. Let me know! Baltimore Women Rock! :>)

Might have to go with that one! Will let you know!...Looks like it has a TTL viewing? The 10X is a pretty nice option!

I might be leaving by then......
Gotta head back home in a decent hour.....
We'll see......

A bit overcast so the pictures are not at there best. All shot handheld. The image stabilizing lens works wonders. 10X Olympus power
This is full wide 38MM

This is about 280MM

Full optical zoom at 380MM. I could get closer with digital zoom, but the pics get pixelated.

Are you able to attach any filters? The salmon shot is neat and I wonder if a polarizer might have helped with the reflections? I couldn't open the picture above (3 pics). Is it me? HS,
Jerry

Yes I beleive a polarizer would have done the trick. Did not bring alot of equipment with me, small boat and alot of gear The pics in my previous post open fine here ?? Anyone else having problems opening them up ??
