I've hit a brick wall.......

This is all I've found in over a month? Been hunting fairly regular, thru all the fires and smoke, 3 privates (2 over 100+ yrs old), some re-hunts, the usual public spots, etc. To make it worse this also includes a trip to Idaho and today I chased a tearout rumor that didn't pan out and ended up doing some curb strips in the small Burg and about an hr into that the cops show up....lol Someone called them and said "there's some guy digging in my yard!"....the cops and I had a chuckle over that and I took it as ANOTHER no luck today AGAIN and went home. I just can't seem to make it happen lately. I'll be chasing an old resort maybe next week that I'll need a boat to access the spot, hopefully (if I can find the place?) that might turn up something...????

You do have some real cool finds there one guy. I really enjoy finding the tootsie toys and other metal toys.
I once had an old lady call the cops and tell them some guy is in the park cutting down trees. I was digging a merc next to a big tree.
The cop walked up to me laughing and said he had to follow through with the call. I showed him what I found and he gave me a suggestion
for a neighboring town park that led me to 4 more mercs that day.

Some nice finds there !

Yes, it seems like the slow periods last a long time sometimes - but hang in there - I would think your due to starting hitting again soon !

At least you're getting out there detecting. I haven't detected for weeks...only a handful of times so far this year.
Too much other higher priority stuff going on. :stars:

Good luck with the old resort.

You have some important points in your favor...you are doing your research, you are putting the time in, and you're not afraid of asking permission. Given that, I'm sure the heart-stopping finds are going to come fast and furious. Keep at it! You're doing great!
