I've Got To Thank Kellyco

I know some people don't care for Kellyco, but I have bought 3 detectors from them and a bunch of accessories. I would use a local dealer if I had one nearby, but I don't.
I also hate paying state tax on the bigger purchases.
Anyway, I ordered the 6" DD coil from them on a Thursday and had called to make sure they had one in stock. They didn't ship it until Monday. I had planned a two day trip a little later in the week to go detecting and canceled it because I didn't want the box with the coil sitting in front of the house while I was gone. If it was shipped on Friday, I would have had it on time. I E Mailed Kellyco to let them know that I was not happy with the shipping delay. They called and the lady said that she did not have an explanation for the shipping delay. At least she was honest. She also sent me a $25.00 gift card as a way of making it up to me.
I later ordered a 10.5" DD coil. I ordered it on a Thursday and by Tuesday still did not get an e mail showing that it had been shipped so that I could track it. Somehow the order got messed up and it did not ship. They were very nice about it and shipped it next day UPS at no extra charge. I got it in time for my planned weekend trip.
Although they may have had a couple of goof up's, they sure made it right with me. The 3 detectors I ordered as well as other shipments from them all come without a problem. Some people don't like the way they charge to ship accessories, but if you have shipped anything lately, you know how much prices on shipping have risen.
They are one of our site sponsors and I just wanted to publicly say Thank You to Kellyco.

I'd also like to personally thank Kellyco.
They've been excellent in their communication with me and have a wide range of products, some of which I am unable to obtain locally.

They kept me up to date with international shipping orders and the speed of shipping was excellent.

I purchased an Minlab X-70 From Kellyco , And there service been great. The Biggest issue is not with Kellyco Shipping policy, but It was the UPS!!!!! There are req. to make several pick up and day, Normal , 2nd Day and Overnight!!, but sometimes they dont and Kellyco and customor are threw out to dry to say If relay wish get anything to you fast. You need go with UPS overnight, Is expensive, but Shipping by normal ground or 2nd Day is waste of Many!! Maybe Kellyco should also go to Fed-X Chuck
 
I guess it just depends on who you get on the other end of the line.
I had an issue with them and didn't get jack S&^#$!!! BUT thats the luck
of the draw. I did get a response from a KellyCo person
who saw my rantings here on the forum:rant:
and offered to make it right. :yo:A sales person I do believe.
We all just have to play the hand we are dealt.

My experience with Kellyco is similar to Robert Roy's. I ordered an detector from them last month; it was on a Friday. I ordered on-line and got a somewhat screwed up call about two hours later. The gal called to say the detector wasn't in stock...then she checked the inventory and said it was in stock and said it would ship that afternoon. Well, I paid for UPS third day air. Imagine my surprise when I checked on Monday to find out that the detector had not yet shipped. It finally went out Monday pm; I received the detector on Thursday, almost a week after ordering it. I'm wondering why I paid an extra $46, when I probably would have gotten the detector the next day after I received it anyway, had I just let them ship it ground. I made my dissatisfaction known though a feedback questionnaire from a company that tracks such things for Kellyco. That's the last I heard about the situation. Even though I might order from Kellyco again, I won't pay for expedited shipping from them.
 
I have made many purchases from Kellyco over the years. Tracking tells alot. It takes about 30 hours for the package to go from Jacksonville FL to my house in Baton Rouge. It takes from 24 to 72 hours to go from Kellyco to Jacksonville.
 
I have bought a lot of things and never a problem. I always buy from Wanda or JW. You are right though all are good. So I say give them a call.I hate typing anyway. :D: :D: HH Jerry aka Tinfoil

Got your reply today. I appreciate you taking time to get involved in my concern. You're obviously a quality guy and I've got to assume that the company you work for is also great. I'll buy from Kellyco again!
