New member
5 silver dimes(one a month for me) Some silver horse tack and a silver earing. 27 wheats Acool match box cover. My Ace 250 and Atpro are resposible for most all, but I think the Propointer needs a standing ovation. I dont have a lot of old stuff here to picture ( a 1917 wheat is my oldest coin.) I am a little bored today, so i took these pics of some of my finds since I started detecting. I know a lot of u folks could drag out your past finds and post them on here and make mine look like a small pile of rice. But it really doesnt matter do it , its all about what u can dig up .I do post alot of junk finds on here , but that is truly what I have found and I feel good about it.Aint it nice to have Findmall.Com at your ready.

Very Nice finds, Just think 20 years from now, another newbie will be posting his new finds and then you can look back on ALL your neat finds from the past. Keep posting I never get tired of looking at others finds. Your doing better then I started. You have 5 silver dimes in 5 months, I can't remeber how long it took me to find my first silver coin.H/H

Not bad at all. Everyone who has been doing this for a while had to pass the 5 month mark, too. It takes time to become proficient with a detector, and then you have to pass over some goodies to find them.

Nice stuff. That 6th Army piece is nice. Wonder how old that is.. Could
probably get a good appx idea with some web sleuthing.. I'm not much on
button ID, but that button has kind of a Marine Corps look to it.. But could
be army too I suppose. Like I say, I'm not much up on buttons. :super:

You get fantastic finds, as you have just posted. I would place my money on you for the best digs at a planned hunt.;)

Very nice collection. I've seen guys on here say that they don't bother to dig pennys, but I really like finding those wheaties. I also get a special thrill when I dig up a token or a religious medallion of almost any sort. thosse are fun to find. Thanks for posting these. Gives us guys in the frozen north something to look forward to.

INCH, I think you might have some hunting areas that haven't been touched much. If so, who knows what you might find once the weather breaks !! Keep hammering em !

Nice tungsten carbide ring with etched crosses. I found one similar on the beach last November, They sell for $200 to $300 plus new.

Nice finds 72. I've been at this detecting game for about the same length of time as you and have not had near the luck as you.

[size=large]you're doing better'n some and not as good as others.
i agree with mcgee. it's the hunt and the idea of finding what is lost. everyone wants gold and silver. if it's in the area your hunting and you put your coil on it and you read the signal correctly and you dig it up then you'll have it. if it isn't there oh well. like you i've only been at it , in my case 8 months, a short time. found only five wheats and two silver rings. one a crt and the other a small indian style. they are both silver though. and i found them. this year i'm looking forward to doing better. so can you. the more you get out the more you learn about your machine and the better you get. you are only competing with yourself. if there's no metal in the park then you won't find any either. some folks seem to have parks overstocked with silver and beaches teeming with gold rings. i'm having the fun i want. let them find all they can. we'll get better with time. :detecting:
