Started my vacation (at my local beach) last weekend by finding my THIRD watch - badly corroded and not working, but hey -it's a Watch!
Undoubtedly, these things are rare at my beach:spin:

Next stop, Florida at Cocoa Beach - boy the tide doesn't move much there, and the sand is soft and deep!
First I found the little 14k gold sig ring, and then I found Watch number FOUR of all time.
The band is badly corroded but it still works, must of been in the ground for awhile.
It's nothing fancy, made by George. But hey - it's a Watch!

Next when I got back home, I went detecting again, but my batteries were going dead, only detected about an hour.
Got these two items, I would have been excited to see the Spanish Gold if I would have found it in Florida but I've never so much as found a wheat penny on my beach so I knew this coin was a Fake! The Earring doesn't have any markings, so I'm thinking a fake too. It was still good getting to detect....

Next, I went back again Saturday. Managed to find all this plus 4 rings - three were junk - but the one with the red stone is 10k and pretty nice looking too.
I also found a gold colored blob(not pictured), it's heavy too, I'm thinking maybe a tooth filling??? it's 4.3 grams of something very small and heavy - gotta get one of those acid test kits!

At least your having a good time I hope. I have a drawer full of non working and working watches and lighters. They seem to be everywhere around these parts. Nice ring finds!
