But sometimes they can make things easier.

In November of 2007 I got out on this site for about 20 minutes and found two three ringers
and a what-zit. Never did figger out what it is. Do you know? I found it where the red X is.

I thought this land belonged to a former client of mine. I found out that he had sold it and I
was trespassing. I could not get permission from the people who bought it to hunt there
again.

I just knew there was a ton of CW finds there.

This spring they tore down the house and a developer bought it. I the site became over grown
and I tried several times but never made another good find.

Now they have cleared the place out and started putting in utilities and drainage boxes for a
road.

I got in there today. My car in this photo is parked where the white oval is in the areal photo.

I found the pennies where the brown X's are. And where the red X's are, I found the brass buckle,
lantern piece and what looks like part of maybe an old iron?????..Do you know?????:shrug:
There is also an old chrome gas cap, horse shoe, plow piont, horse tac ring, some old china
chips and a piece of rolled up lead.

This big brass buckle has an anchor on it. Can anyone ID that??????????:shrug:

I cleaned some dirt off the rolled up lead thing and discovered that it's not rolled up.
It's hot poured in a mold. It has a hole through it. You can see the seem along it.
I've never seen one of these.

Do you know what it is ?????
