Now everyone can quit feeling sorry for poor ole Ron cause today I've found silver! Yup I found a silver dime and my third wheatie penny in the same day! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Since 19 August the count as of today is 1600 coins even, and a face value of $70 even. (wierd)or is that (weird) Just a quart more of coins and I'll get that new coil I've been wanting! Ron

That's great Ron...."You Go Boy". I got out this weekend as well for about two hours and found my second piece of silver. It's a 1940 Mecury dime....made the hunt worth all the while.

What size of coil are your using? Are you still using the relic mode for coins and jewelry? What is your coin count for the weekend? Where did you hunt? Trade my Roos for your Merc! Ron

Ron, I did use the "relic mode" and I like it....disc at about 2 and I was searching in an old school yard. Probably built in about 1920, just a guess. The rest of the coins were new pennies and a lot of junk. And thanks, but I will keep my Merc....
