The Bullseye doesn't even compare to the DX-1. With the DX-1 you have it mounted to your detector, and you also get readings with it the same as having a small hand held coil. If you ever us one you will never use anything else.
I agree with Hillbilly Bob. I will be ordering another one this spring for my wife's MXT with a portion of our clad finds from 2008. Awesome device. HH Dennis in Idaho
I'll have to check them out then. Have a question...In what situations does the target ID (on the probe) show a benefit. Obviously it is a better probe than most (I've come to respect a lot of folk's opinion around here) but how often does that help?
Just bought my DX-1 last Wednesday!! Havent used it yet but I cant wait. Larry at Big Valley Metal detectors in Sacramento has them in stock!! bigvalleymetaldetectors.com
I just bought mine yesterday too. I'm hoping it will help me with those occasional deep coin signals that turn into mystery holes ounce the dirt is out!
I have found that when you order something over the phone or on the net always ask if they have it in stock and ready to ship, allot of places will charge your card then they have to order it through some one else. I hate that.............
The good dealer's will let you know that in advance.
I recently ordered a D2 10" coil, Ratphones, extra battery case, etc from a fairly distant dealer, over the phone. I was told up front that he didn't have the coil and headphones in stock and they would take up to 10 days. I was fine with that, as I don't expect the smaller local dealers to carry everything, so paid for everything. Being in the remote Northwestern part of Canada, the shipping charges from the larger U.S. dealers are out of this world.
True to my dealers words everything arrived directly shipped from the distributer, which is halfway across the other side of the country, within the 10 days.
I would definitely follow up as to why the long delay in your order, Bub. Something is not right, especially when they said it was shipped over 3 weeks ago.
Well on the 2nd of this month (march) I emailed him asking for a tracking number and how it was shipped, I was told the post office must of lost it. Ok, have had that happen before. He told me he would send another one, and that if I recieved two send 1 back. Cool I'm thinking the guys going above and beyond. Well Sunday I write him another email saying still no DX-1 and please give me a tracking number. Yesterday I get a email from him with the tracking number, I look it up it was shipped on march 10th, ya Tuesday he shipped it overnight so I should have it tommorrow the 12th. So unless I get 2 In the mail in the next week or so I have been having my chain jerked. I live in a small town and have to buy a lot of stuff on line and have had very little trouble with bussinesses but this has really got me p.o.ed. I have read several positive things about the dealer but I will not be a return shopper, sorry to say.
I ordered mine from them first time around, got tired of the not being up front crap.Canceled my order and went to Big Valley MDs.Had it in two days.I have been using mine for some time now.Absolutely wont go to TC Detectors again.
Hey BUB good luck and HH.
