I've been hunting this playground for a week or two. It's a large play ground down by the river and it has different sections and areas for different types of play. I found the mini ball els where, but I found this jewelry there. A silver ring (I think), it's not marked and I can't tell if it has a stone or what that is. A silver(I think) ballerina, a gold(I think) Razorback hog, a titanium earring, two junk earrings, a silver(I think) little bell, a silver looking super hero made in china, and yesterday I found this rectangle shaped thing with an image of a knight chess piece on one side and what looks like a broken stud on the other side. It looks like fake gold so I chucked it in my my pocket and went on hunting.

This morning I saw something on the on the back of the fake gold looking piece so I got out my magnifying glass. To my surprise it says 14k:bouncy:

Gold jewelry finding is something I'm trying to develop.

This is a start.

Keep on swinging

Good stuff.

That 14k piece is neat looking. Is it heavy? I'd like to know the weight if you have a gram scale.

Were you working woodchips, sand or sod?

It reads in them plastic wall tacks.

I tried to use some thing common. But it seems to weigh about the same as 5 of those tacks.

Sorry but I couldn't think of a better way to do it.

If you figure out how much that is could you post it.

This play ground is sand.

Much of the area where they built wooden play structures is full of nails. So much so I can't get to the good stuff. Yesterday I started the task of removing all the nails. I'm now committed because I promised some nice mommies at the play ground that I would have It done by the end of next week. I explained to them I couldn't get all the dangers out play ground but I would make it safer. That's better for everybody.
