All the troubles of a fellow who dislikes to stay within.

It was in the 20s today. So I headed to the wooded valley in a park, out of the wind. I hunted in all metal most of the time today because of several inches of leaves on the ground. Had the Vaquero set right at the edge of quiet, sens10 . When I heard something Id kick the debris out of the way then switch to discriminate for a closer listen. Found some bullets, shotgun shells, old rusty fixed blade knife and other stuff. Did find two good items. My third Mark Twain transportation token and a tiny padlock.

Had to take a picture of the token by the Mark Twain statue overlooking the Mississippi river.

It looks like you did well for yourself.

I get cold just thinking about how cold it is. I don't like hot any better. I guess I need to bundled up and get with it.:detecting:

those are quality finds, but thats to cold for me. this is for sure, you won't have much competition

I enjoy the cold better than the heat. As long as the ground isnt frozen I will go out. The woods are better in the winter . Summer , I cant hack it.

Took a turn for the worst here. A light dusting of snow, but temperatures below freezing. May end up sleeping in this Sunday morning!
