It's not every day you find a SLQ with friends!

I found a patch of terrible dark gravel in-between two old trees, and hit a sweet pocket spill. My day wasn't going very well, I was getting tired, and it was almost time to go. I heard a weak signal, and it was bouncing all over the place. I couldn't get the target to settle in, and almost thought it was trash. Since it was at 5" I decided to dig, and glad I did. It was a Wheat. Good start. Started to swing again, and got another iffy signal. This time I could see the conductivity was in and out of 44, 48, 46 etc. Started to dig, and realized I was digging in some awful black gravel full of hot rocks. Next thing I know out pops a silver quarter. Turned the camera on, and remove the dirt. A nice, sharp 1935 Washington. Start to swing again, and in the same plug I get another bouncing signal. Dig it, and out pops the worn Standing Liberty. Stand up again, and swing a foot away, and again I get another signal. This time a 1937 Washington. After that a few more Wheats, but what a nice spill. I need more days like this~!

Standing ovation!

Sweet finds Ron!!!

Congrats!! Love those old coin spills...

They don't come like that every day Ron! I've had the same thing happen to old coins in gravel - signals are very choppy.
