Went hunting this morning and found a "wanna be " gold chain, a 1929 "merc", 1942 "wheatie" , and a tiny metal item which I thought had the image of an iguana on it.

I requested ID to verify my finding........well,,, turns out I had the pic of the item upside down , and when turned 180* ..yup..I was informed by a member on another forum that this is the Black Hawk emblem of a pistol....I think it's called a "Black Hawk" pistol.

You all probably knew this , I'm sure.

Well....what do I know about pistols?...nada, nic , zilch...zero...

I sit corrected...Hank suggested that it was an eagle, but,"oh, no way, Hank".... I had dissuaded him with my "iguana" idea....now I am eating crow.

Here' s pics

thanks for reading my post and looking at the pics
