Not been hunting as much this year but thought I'd share tonights finds. Hunted an old farm field and got 2 of the nicest Seated dimes I've ever found and a Shield nickel to boot. Only hunted about 2 hours and the weather was great so had a great time. The last 2 times out to this field I got 2 Barber dimes each time but none today which is fine. I think I'm down to less than 10 Seated dimes of having a roll while using the Explorer so maybe this year will be the year. Nice finds everyone. Good luck & HH Ken

Those Seated Dimes are in great shape. You should try some Nic-A-Date on that Shield Nickel to try and bring back the date of the coin. Very nice finds and hope many more come to light on your next outing. Congrats!

I think I'll put some on it I thought it looked like an 1884 but they didn't make them in 1884 so I'll find out in a bit what it is for sure. One thing for sure it's very rusty but it's still a shield. Good luck Ken
