It's Never Too Cold, To Dig Silver And Gold

Had today off after working 6 in a row. It's been snowing on and off for the last several days, so my search window to dig rings is getting smaller. I headed off to a lake, and although it was frozen, I did get a huge size 14 10k gold wedding band and a silver dime digging in the dry sand.

Good going John!!

The salt water here doesn't freeze, but hunting with ice floating in it from nearby freshwater rivers and streams can be some really cold hunting!!

I've never checked the water temperature, but somewhere in the thirties would be a good guess.

Air temps were in the twenties with no wind on the coldest day I ever hunted.

Regards,

CJ
