well here in Fla it been either raining and when it not it close to a hundred degrees out and just so humid in the day time, been going during the evenings it a little better. and night time would not be bad the only thing where I'm at parks and beaches close at sun down to sun up. especially hard for beach hunting at night their are so many condos and hotels on the beach side here that their is no place to park any more now a days with out being towed and any parking lots for the beach parking will get you a ticket or towed after dark,it will be nice when it cools down about 20-30 degrees to the 60's and 70's again where you can go out for the day and hunt comfortably with out passing out from the humidity.the heat not bad it the humidity thats get you. and i know it not only here in Fla but all over!!!

Yeah I know what you mean. We have had soo much rain in the last two months that it was nearly impossible to get out and dig. Now the rain has stopped and it's around 100 degrees everyday. When I first started detecting this year I could go for a good 8 hours or more. Now it's about 4 to 5 hours due to the heat. I haven't metal detected in the winter time yet so I was wondering which is worse, Digging in the 100 degree heat or digging in the 25 degree cold?
