IT'S CUP MATCH! 3 RINGS!

Cup Match is like Christmas in August for Bermudians, ONLY BIGGER! What this means to an expat worker like myself is 4 days off work. I hit Horseshoe Bay 3 times so far, after work on Wednesday, Thursday morning and this morning. 3 hunts = 3 rings; 2 10k class rings and a sterling Eagle ring.
It's been raining on and off for the last 3 days so the crowds come and go but it gives me good access to the beaches when the rain is falling and the tide is low. A bit of storming makes for rough hunts as the waves crash in around me but it's good exercise and keeps things interesting.
Wednesday PM 10k yellow gold class ring from Loyalist College, Ontario, Canada.
Thursday AM 10k white gold band ring from the Commandoes.
Friday AM .925 Eagle ring.

A Little Rough in the Mine on all 3 hunts.

The weather cleared this morning and the crowds started trickling back.

Caught a snap of this Bermuda Long-tail on my way out.

(earing is .925 and the 'cherish' necklace is junk)

Everytime I see your pictures I can almost feel that gorgeous sand between my toes and taste a pina colada.

Living and detecting in paradise - what a nice life :).

Wife and I should come visit Bermuda sometime!

Oh - and nice finds

I'll be here, Cubby. Unless I move to Cayman for another project. If you're coming down you better hurry, just in case.:bouncy:

Cheers,
