tried to figure out whats wrong with this minelab relic hunter... i think i figured it out.. the connection that goes to the box from the coil.. the wires were/are now broke.. do i have to buy a whole new coil or can i buy the wire harness.. all help is appreaciated. it only has 2 wires but 4of the 6 prongs have solder.. also where can i get a coil or harness.. anyone selling one. thankyou once again

G/Day cowboy80929,
If you can solder you might be able fix the coil plug connections yourself.
Here are the plug and wire connecting colour and pin numbers.

FOR 5 Pin Plug

PIN No 1 Red wire

Pin No 2 White

Pin No 3 Green

Pin No 4 Black

Pin No 5 Blue

FOR 6 PIN PLUG ( Military )

Pin A White

Pin B Green

Pin C Blue

Pin D Red

Pin E & F Black

You will have to cut the wire back at the plug end to get to each wire, you said you could only see two wires, the others will be back up inside the harness..

If the wire ie broken at the coil end then you might have a bit of difficulty

Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Adrian SS

wow thanks ... it must be a military one all the plugs are letters... thanks alot though its graciously appreaciated

nope there is definatly only 2 wires... a black and a clear white... i wonder if someone has tampered with it.. cant find any other wires
this is the plug that connects to the box from the coil...

cowboy80920,

My mistake,

The pin connections I gave in the previous post are for the power plug connections.
The correct coil plug connections are in a pm.
Cheers,
