Its been rumored that Garrett has something New-anyone have any hints?

Good question, Vlad: Been wondering the same, and have been putting off ordering a 250 in case something new develops. Something new between the 250 & 1350 is due:look:
 
With the 250 being so new and so popular, my guess would be something in the 2500 range; the technology there isn't that new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the 250 (I just got mine). Although I don't think anything new would be in that range, you could probably sell your 250 for what you paid for it if you wanted to buy the higher-end new stuff. However, as I've seen on this forum, people seem to keep the 250 even though they have the upper-end Garrett's.
 
Garrett should have the power and money to make a 400 to 500$ MXT,M6 or XTerra 50 killer. Maybe a pulse detector with full disc and display in a lightweight package that will blow them all away in bad ground conditions. That could be an Explorer killer too.

They are quite old. My buddy has been looking for a used 1350/1500/2500 for some time and they just don't show up very often. It's not like Garrett has not been selling any. People just hang on to them. A compliment to Garrett, a dilemma for anyone wanting to buy used.......

Actually, within the next few months, there should be a full disc. PI with tone ID introduced.. but not by Garrett AFAIK. ...Willy.
 
Can't blame them. If they said they were working on an advancement at the upper price levels, sales of the 2500, and probably the 1350, would stop immediately.
