It's been a Stormy week in Bermuda:cool:

The week started with gale force winds (actually blew down a masonry wall on my construction site), then it moved up to storm force winds and yesterday we had storm force with gusts to hurricane strength.
It's quieted back down to a gale so I headed over to Horseshoe Bay this morning for the low tide. The winds are from the NW so when I got to the southshore it was fairly calm and into the water I went. A lot of fresh sand which was pretty soft on the bottom but I found a few hard patches and that is where I found a little bit of loot.
There was a dry sander working the beach and we waved to each other in passing (leaving each other to their own devices).
I found a lot of pull tabs from the wash out of the beach but I also found my first chain! It had a knot in it or I would have passed over it.
Here's the modest loot:

I'm going to try to get out for tomorrows low tide at a new beach.
Wish me Luck!

On the chain. You will get them like that all day, in silver with or without a knot. You put the coil over it and it's yours. The jury is still out on the gold of that size. I found 1 gold like that, but it was wrapped around a silver chain, like yours. What's the story on the religious medallion? Nice haul dude! Keep on it man, maybe the winds will open the locker for ya!

The medallion is a cheapo St. Jude piece, something to do with answering prayers for that saint I think.
I guess I should have been praying for loot instead of just enjoying being out in the water in January. Hey, I had fun and that was the whole point for me.:bouncy:
I'm really looking forward to hunting in Mexico next month, no wetsuit required.

Cheers Mate,
