It's been a great summer so far

I've only been detecting for about a year and it took me about 6 months to really "get the feel for it." With that being said, I think I've hit my stride this summer. I mainly focus on civil war stuff but I've dug 2 sweet silver coins this summer. My first morgan dollar and my first barber quarter (who digs these two coins before their first merc?). It's also been a great summer for civil war stuff too. I dug my first eagle breast plate, my wife dug a CSA button and a whole bunch of complete spencer casings. The AT Pro sure has been a great machine for me.
For those interested, nearly all of these finds were filmed on my youtube channel which can be found by searching "Zach Byrd Adventure Hour."

Wonderful start and hope the rest of the year is as good as the first part. Congratulations to you and the wife, the family that detects together, stays together. I'm still looking for my first morgan silver dollar and barber quarter, but have found 3 mercury dimes since starting this hobby in Dec-2007.

Zach "congrats" to you and your family on your civil war relics & major coins finds, also I am a subscriber to your u-tube videos and enjoy watching them. Keep up the bodacious vids & I wish you & your family many great finds while out dirt fishin.
