ITS ABOUT BLEEPING TIME!!!!!!

Great weather today and what a blissful day metal detecting. I only spent three hours at
a new/very old town twenty miles from me. They have a nice new Elementry school and four baseball diamonds and a TOT
Lot. No rings....I just focused on spare change. The town is quite old and almost a ghost town but the country
or city got funds to refurbish the old structures. It's like stepping into the past 1800's. Of course there are some new structures too
but for the most part no real development. Farm land is everywhere. I'm going to go back when I have more time and see if anyone will let me
MD around some of the old houses and maybe farmland. We'll see!

I took out the MXT and used the 6x10DD coil. Worked really well but I need alot more
practice pinpointing with it. Detuning did help to some extent but for the most part I had to really dig around to find the target.
I had intended to get the Bullseye Pinpointer last week but procastinated. I need it soon!

18 quarters
6 nickels
11 dimes
3 pennies

$5.93 cents.

Sounds like you did well RR. I think you'll really like the 6X10 when you're used to it. I have the sunray dx-1 probe on my MXT and it helps pinpointing a lot. Bad weather here this weekend so haven't been out.

Yea, yea, yea. I've been over that a thousand times and the target STILL doesn't want to show up where I'm digging.
I should clarifiy and say it's not always like that. Sometimes the target IS where I pinpointed so it may have to do with how
I am cutting the plug. More times than not the target ends up inside the wall of the hole I dug. Close, for sure, but not
satisfactory! At least the detuning did help somewhat.
