That guy looks so happy.
I agree - seeing peoples happyness at being reuinted with lost precious objects is the BEST tonic and motivater for a detectorist.

Yesterday I returned that silver medal that I found on 25.4.10 to its owner...he lost it when he was 8 and now he is 84 !
He was so excited ...like a teenager again.
I was at his home doing the return for about 40 minutes and he must of thanked me a dozen times.
To me it was a win / win situation...I went home feeling fabulous too.
