It's a good day to hit the beach Bill.

I heard the winds there are 80 miles an hour and the waves are 30 ft. off shore. Good beach erosion. Get up early in the morning and beat Monte to the loot.:detecting:

[quote Uncle Willy]It's pouring down rain and windy and the closest beach is 90-100 miles away.

Where is your sense of adventure? I know of people that would kill themselves to get to the beach after a hurricane. That because that is where the treasure is. And they find it too! GO FOR IT!!!!:hot:

You haven't been to an Oregon beach during a storm. 2-5 ton water soaked logs get thrown up on the beach by big waves and several folks over the years have been killed by them. We have one beach down south ( Gold Beach ) where they mined gold off the beach in the 1800's. We have one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and it's about 400 miles long.

Right now our weather sucks, wind and rain, and it would be worse at the coast. It's raining cats and dogs here at this moment, but it's supposed to be dry next week.

I even like the sound of the name. There has got to be gold there after this storm. If you don't, somebody else will. You wait and see. Somebody will have a great find and be in some treasure magazine. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Those logs in the water would have to hurt.

It's one of the beaches farthest down that 400 mile coastline. :) There hasn't been any gold there in many years. It was all washed down to the beach by streams running out of the mountains. Beaches out here have mountains next to them or close to them. Ain't like that flat as a pancake terrain in Florida.
