[attachment 216939 100_0685808x1077.jpg][attachment 216938 100_06821077x808.jpg]Couldn't Stand it!! had to take my Tesoro/X2 out today for a hunt.I was being lazy about going out, using the cold and wind as a excuse not to go out. About 11 AM I went out to my usually stand by local park, and started out hitting the grassy area around the basket ball park.In past I had picked up some nice clad here a tungsten ring,a gold chain and cross, and a plated silver chain, and a junk avon ring here. The ground was nice and moist from recent rain.Started out finding some nickels Was running my usual 2.5 Disc and 8 Sens. anyhow was not getting to many signals I had cleared it out of alot of its trash and usually pull tabs.Decided to hit the grassy strip between basketball court and tennis court right next to each other. Well I usually don't pay much attention to this strip, its not where I see people sitting on grass or laying their clothing down..I got a good enough signal in a thick green patch of grass. Before I dug I said to myself this is going to be a ring here. Boy was I surprised when a ring popped,I tinkered around the court until some people came to use it.I
moved on to other side of Tennis court and baseball field just picked up a dime .Well at this pint I was getting hot and deceided to call it quits. I did a quick stop by picnic shelter pulled a coin up.I might as well do a quick walk through soccer field/baseball field.Hadn't pulled anything out of there besides some little clad in a long time.In fact last few hunts its been fruitless. Quite a while ago I pulled my first ever silver ring out of there and a nice silver necklace there last fall, but since then nothing.Got a good signal just randomly going cross field,as I was heading home,I couldn't believe it when I pulled up another ring from the dirt.A two ring day a new record for me.!!! what a way to end a hunt. In all I was out from 11AM to about 3PM. My take for today was 1quarter,2 Dimes,3 nickels,4 pennies, and a 417( stands for 10 kt) stamped religious ring with a small ruby stone .And second ring was stamped 14 for 14kt. I had to look up what the 417 meant on Internet. The second ring had initials scribed on it

Great Finds woodchuck! The Troy X2 with the 7" coil is killer in heavy trash areas...It will "laser" right through the trash you get in the City park areas and get the goodies. Were you using the 7" concentric?

I guess I'll have to get mine back out even though I have been doing pretty well with my Tejon and 1999 model Silver uMax!

Dream day!!
Your feet were in ring mode!
Is this a park near where the elite meet to eat?
Heck of a bounty to report from one park!
Nice work!!

All I can say is amazing!. This summer I had one 3 our hunt on some land where I found 2 silver rings, I would trade you for them in a heart beat.lol

Wow! You lucky dog you. :clapping:

Woodchuck,

About how deep we're the rings? Just curious. I'm not sure what a Tesoro x2 even is I will goolge it. Sounds like an older unit that still kicks tail.

The Shadow x2 was a machine we manufactured for Troy.
