It went away....Hmmmmm...interesting:smile:

I second that it was interesting. Even contacted the control operators asking if they did it and/or why! No response from them yet!

Even if those claims were true, I wouldn't be interested. There is no where that I hunt that would be appropriate to dig 25" deep. Even if there was, that crosses the threshold from a fun hobby to more like a construction job. No thanks

It's the communication
and having too much
fun.

Remember how mommie
didn't want us to have too
much fun.

Well, I'll have fun in their face.

I'm talkin big fun in your face!!

Happy Hunting

This is risky bussiness.
The last time I had too much fun
they deleted all my post. Like I was
never there.

I think this Guy's Mod is way more interesting than that post ever was!! What do you think Tabdog? :beers:

I did hear from the control operators of the forum. They indicated this is a commercial site and that fellow was crossing the line in advertising his stuff. They abruptly and with no doubt who was in charge (much akin to George Bush),told me that I did not have the right to question the removal of the posts. It was an internal issue and of no concern to the constituency. They did say they would allow him to post on the modifications forum.

So they can do whatever they want. I thought it was an interesting thread. I like seeing the debate, but can see where they didnt like the encroachment into their sponsors.

if you go detecting with your treasure buddy and he has a detector that he picks up Seated and Barber dines at 12-15 inches deep while you are just getting the Mercs and Rosies at 5-6 inches deep? Are you going to just pat your buddy on the back and say way to go? Or are you gonna get you one of those dang detectors that goes that deep?

I am ready for a new deep seeking detector myself. Many of you here have said the old Teknetics Mark !, Compass from 20-35 years ago, or the old Whites 6000 still stacks up with all the detectors built today. Myself, If I don't want to dig 12-25 inches deep on a dime, I can always turn the sensitivity knob down and dig the coins at 4-5 inches deep. I know some old sites that I have dug those Barber dimes 10-12 inches deep over 30 years ago. I want one that will get those deep coins if I want to dig it. If these guys has built one, please sign me up. I have seen the capability of going that deep, these guys just might have just done it. I have always been a fanatic TR man, this looks very interesting. But I am from Missouri, so please Show-Me.
