With a temperature of -43 and a cold Siberian wind from the north, I opted NOT to detect this morning.......I must be getting old. :stretcher:

Older but wiser. LOL We're getting a small taste of it here in Montana. I changed my mind about moving up there. Now I want to move to Florida real bad.

If you are in Montana, I can drive to Montana in about 10 hrs. Mmmmmm, a wind from the north means you might be next. :(

John, I embrace the cold.

But embracing the cold in the middle of the US has a way different meaning than where you are.

So before you got too old, what was your routine for hunting in the deep freeze weather?

I dont know how you do it, I can't even bring myself to go out and hunt the bark chips, not without a fancy chainsaw to cut thru them. Frozen solid here :(

Yeah...thats just too cold for anyone...no need for you to be too much of a man in one winter...pace yourself, plenty of year left!
We had a snow eater come through today and got up nearly to 60...I might hit what was once the sledding hill tomorrow and just pick things up off the dirt.

I hear you John! It's brutally cold here too, weather warning is calling for -45 (-49f) for tonight. When I left my job site and took my gloves off to lock the door tonight, my hand stuck to the doorknob...I hate that feeling lol!
