There was 14k in those slim Pickings....Hit the Ocean first at about 4pm for LT. Wind was blowing the swell down but the surf was 5' so the wet sand would have to do(as usual). The pickings were slim, with only a few coins, a 50cal. bullet and a couple pieces of melted tin. Scored the ring in an area where the surf scoured the sand to expose the denser coarse sand and gravel layer. Also scored the nickles, one of the quarters and the car right in that area. Had the opportunity to meet a couple of other detectorists there that were working the dry stuff. Hit a N. Shore beach at 7pm for its low tide. Had the opportunity to meet another detectorist there. Got a quarter, a few pull tabs and a couple of Heiniken tops that initially sounded so good. Good targets were lacking so called that one a bit early. All in all a good day....
