[/img]This after cleaning up the targets. One piece of AU would have had me pooing in my waders. The gold is there and I did bring up two last week. So much is out of reach for now. What you see here came up in a two hour frenzy in 40 something degree water. The two hours prior only gave up a 1919 cent. I had to be careful not to swamp my waders and wet armpits when it was done. My wader safety belt was cinched up over my nipples and the bottom sloped off into very deep water. The lipstick is a 1936 Richard Hudnut Art Deco "Marvelous" Lipstick Tube. Found one on the Internet from a vintage store that was identical. The logo of 2R's back to back "R" is on the bottom.

The variety of finds from this place has always been fascinating. The amount of debris, entanglements and garbage is dangerous. My heart was pounding because offer two or three good targets were in the scoop while I was still getting a signal from where the Excalibur was signaling. Often I'd push the detector to the side and it would sound off. Just great time!

Great finds. 40 something degree water is getting down there - by that time, I'm wearing insulated undies plus other warm clothing. Nice coins - sounds like a heck of a day, sounding a target while digging another; life should be so rough for all of us... Another job, well done.

Thnakyou. The day was about 50 dergrees here and I had thermal socks, insulated wader socks, insulated waders, two heavy long sleve shirts with zipper collars, sugical gloves, wool golves and shoulder length rubber gloves. I know how dangerous the area is and cold water multiplies the factor. A dry suit would have been much better.
