Got to the park at 7:30 or so this morning and it was around 65 degrees. It poured rain up until 6:30 so the ground was just perfect. I was really glad I brought the video camera 'cause it turned out to be one heck of a day

The weather was absolutely beautiful. Actually had to leave at one point to go home, get my sweater off and get a t-shirt on. Ended up hitting 72 degrees. Here's the totals:
5 clad quarters
9 memorials
11 clad dimes
18- wheaties (still have to clean them up for dates)
2- Merc's (both '41's)
6- Rosies 2- 51's, 2-57's and 2 that fell out of my pouch when I pulled my dirt rag out of the pouch (I'll find those tomorrow)
1- '37 Washington
Not to mention a lot of junk...
That makes for 9 silvers in a day, a record for me (well, just about anything would be a record for me

) Counting the 4 I got last week in the same spot, that's 13 silvers so far in the first week of the year

Last year I had 22, the year before 4... I'm either getting better or luckier

Some of the silvers were ridiculously shallow. Either no one thought to hunt his area or their machine couldn't handle picking it out from trash and iron.
On top of losing 2 coins, I played back the video and just realized it ran out of tape half way through... bummer

I don't care though. Today was just an awesome day! I'll still be able to get some video up though.
Hey Mike... I used the stock, the Platypus and the X-12. Got silver and wheaties with all 3.
