Hit a couple old farms today, got a penny trifecta with a toasted largie, I think it is 1844 details on front are GONE................4 indians, 3 wheats......enough for a trifecta so I am happy with that. Got a a soap token as well, the buffalo was from the park this week, I included it because have not posted it yet
 
That bunch off coins is as good as any silver in my book. After reading a lot of your post I'm assuming most or all of your hunts are with the 8x6 SEF coil. I'm on the edge of buying this coil but some of where I hunt has been pounded. The only good coins left are deep. 10 to 12"deep. G4E just how good is the little coil for depth?
 
Yes i was using the 6x8 coil today, the indians were 7-8 inches today and crystal clear signals. I dug a seated dime last year at 9 inches, i would say its safe to bet it would hit a quarter at 10 inches....very good coil. Its true benefit is in target separation. Snakes in between trash like a laser
