It was a warm rain, but a lot of it! Silver!

Today it was raining...the kind of rain old timey sayings are constructed from..."frog strangler", "gulley washer", "chicken turd floater" came to mind and held there throughout the hunt...at least it was a warm rain!

So I hit a place close to home, got straight naked and put on the wetsuit at the boatramp right out in front of God and everybody, (hint, keep your socks on for speedy entry) visibility onshore was about 20'...the rain had the lake roiled up so a fellow couldnt see the coil... In I went with the Pro set on 'stun' and the blue headphones.

Started hitting and getting, it wasnt too long before the headset filled up with water and sort of muted itself as if I was diving...had to keep shaking my head, or hop on one foot and dump the water out to get those crisp pings back...must have looked like I was having a seizure, for I deserved it..:lmfao: .shotgun shells, tabs, sinkers, coins and the like...Then the wind came up and brothers, I was soaked through and through and it was cold! I went back to Rosie and checked time, only been in for a little over an hour, but decided to call it, "thats enough of being a man for one day"...[attachment 301077 oct1414.jpg]

I left my glasses in the car so I had no idea what I had harvested until I got home...got a bit of silver I did! As Leslie would say, "Lord love a duck and the AtPro!"[attachment 301078 oct1414-1.jpg]

Goodness, Mud, you are a tiger and a terror on that big lake beach and water. Hope you had a good hot toddy when you got home. Pretty good hours hunt I would say. 5 silvers, hmmm. You might become a silver hunter yet. Naawww. Good hunt. HH jim tn

Five silver coins in a day is just amazing! Nice going Mud!

Good spread there Mud!! A fine haul of AG in that timeframe too:thumbup: Hope the boat ramp doesn't have a WebCam:rofl:

WTG! Funny about putting on the set suit, I have the same expression - "In front of God and everybody". I've taken to wearing the thinnest bathing suit under my clothes for the onsite change into wetsuit. It was easier when I had a van to deal with gear on / gear off, towel dry routine.
You really have opened up my eyes to what hunting Lake Michigan would be like. I never knew how much it shifted and all. Like Freshwater "ocean" I guess ?
Wow, keep it up while the weather permits.

An American friend was to detect a lake but had to go home. He told me there was a guy in underwear dancing a strange dance for rain, it was very funny to see him dance, but that he had great power, because no rain stopped ....:rofl:
Much silver in one hour and dancing, you are a phenomenon of MD MUD, :clapping:
