but went to the wrong place. Hunted my butt off and came up with a lousy $1.05. Will try aain tomorrow if the rain goes away. Maybe I can find $1.06.

Yeah I'm still a little puny and peter out fast but give it hell while I can. I'm and old construction stiff and not used to being puny so don't know how to handle it.

Don't that pizz you off. I hunted an entire playground and found one lousy dime. Years ago I used to pull five to seven bucks out of this same playground but no more. I think everybody and their dog has a detector these days. I liked it better in the old days when we were a rarity and drew crowds of onlookers who had never seen or heard of a detector.

A $1.05 dang that would pay for my gas and then some!!! Then again how many people do ya know that can say they got enough (.65) to cover their gas.

That's great that you managed out, but each time out you'll be building them muscles up it's just a matter of time.
It's also good for all the newbies to see that an experienced MD'er can sometimes get little or nothing, instead of thinking

Oh yeah, I've had my share of lousy days. It ain't all big loot hunts. Hope you guys are finding your share. I'm having a helluva time getting my legs back in shape. Really pizzes me off but perhaps in time.
