It was a good day.

I went to a city park today, after last nights rain and cooler temps, hoping that it would not be over run with people. The park is on the site of an old ball field. Of course now a good portion of the old ball field is taken up with tennis courts. There is a large Tot Lot there that I plan on visiting at a later date. There were a lot of people there but I was still able to detect. Only had a couple of guys that wanted to talk. One tried to tell me that he had a uncirculated 1916 D penny in his pocket. For some reason I doubted his veracity.

I was able to come up with $2.85 in clad, 30+ Copper Lincolns. (Three were wheaties) and the 1942 D Quarter. Since I only worked a small portion of the park I believe a return engagement or two just might be in order.
