Thought I vanished?? HUH??
It's hard to leave the river!!
But we know well be back soon.
Spent a couple of hours two days griding the shore line - lots of pull tabs.
The water tempeture was 58 degrees - not to cold -
So I took the EX2 In the water on the last day.
"their's so much change between 3' and 15' from shore
It diddn't take long before I pulled this diamond/CZ?? ring from
the botttom 6' out - in about 2' of water.
The other three came shortly after between 6' and 15' from the shore.
It is quit a chanlenge tring to keep the ex2 from getting wet.
Without the X1-probe it wouldn,t have been possible.
Water detecting is another world.
Seems to be very little trash objects away from shore.

Total haul:
$20.00 something in change
2 Wheats - 54D - 58 - and a 65 Canadian penny(first)
Lots of game tokens -
Car wash token
2 - $1.00 tokens from the Casino
1 - Silver earing
4 - Rings
Lots of Stipped bass and blue gill
2 flathead catfish - one went two feet
2 King carp - one went 3 1/2 feet 40+ lbs.

My wife caught the blue gill in the picture -
The owner of the tackle shop said, "the record bluegill is three lbs."
We should have weighed it?? it would have been close.

Nice haul once again and I would have to say that the spot you were at would be hard to leave for me too. Just love the great outdoors and scenery like that is hard to leave. Good Luck on your many more voyages to come.

You guys are just having too much fun down there and you are making us all jealous with the beautiful weather..............:)and only four rings...............:(

The water was 58 degrees. Not to bad, but it got windy.
I only went in the water the last day. For three hours.
Had a shovel instead of a water scoop.
Have you ever found four rings in three hours? (in the water yet)
Have you ever used the ex2 in the water??
You know I'll be back with a water detector.
Got any suggestions on a brand.
Cause the Ex2 just dosen't cut it.
Try to hold the ex2 between your legs, dig with one hand
and use the probe with the other hand.
I only dug good tones.
When normally I dig them all!!
Coins - Now that's alot of holes to dig holding the ex2 between your legs - determination

I figured out, on the last day, the shoreline was a waste of time.

Hey, did I tell you, I also caught two fish at the same time.
It wasn't just a swinging the coil trip.
Flathead Catfish and a Stipped Bass
Got some ridding in too.
