I took the family to Wheeling yesterday for the Christmas light show. Today I get to play. It was a beautiful day, so off I went.
I spent two hours at this old school. It was mostly asphalt except for the back. It was very bad soil almost all coal cinders. I would try to pp and it would null out a lot. When I thought I had silver, it was just hot rocks. I found a cigarette lighter against the foundation. I wonder what those kids were doing behind the school with a cigarette lighter? Also a 1961 SILVER quarter.

After two hours I let the school and went back to check out some more demo-ed houses. People are just moving out of the houses. They are not demo-ed yet. I drive around and make sure the electric meter is going, then it is fair game. I found two houses vacated and more to come. Some houses produce and some don't. Today was mainly clad. Any idea what this is?

Nice ring and quarter. That deal almost looks like a plumb bob. There is a What Is It forum on Treasure Net that has people that probably could identify that thing.

Kinda looks like an attachment to a mechanical drawing compass.
