I walked right up to it, found it within 10 minutes, my first time in that woods. Stayed another 1 1/2 hours and dug only one memorial penny. Went back today and dug a toasted U.S large penny and the silver spoon. Spoon seems to be solid silver, I filed a deep notch in it and didn't see any base metal. Also found the LED flashlight, turned it on, that sucker is bright. Gotta keep detecting while luck is still on my side.

you missed 1881 would have been worth 160.00 in just good condition Year: 1882
Mint Mark: No mint mark
Face Value: 0.10 USD
Total Produced: 3,910,000 [?]
Silver Content: 90%
Silver Weight: 0.0723 oz.
Silver Melt: $1.94
Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in poor condition will be valued at somewhere around $15, while one in "perfect" condition can bring $215. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say poor, we mean worn more than would be expected from a coin in this age, and perfect meaning it looks "perfect" without flaw and possibly even certified. [?].
