Earlier this summer I found a dog tag and inside it there was a name and a number. http://youtu.be/UN0gDdOLAxA I end up returning it to the owner and I gained permission from her to hunt her property. Her house was built in the 50s but it was built on a site we're home from the 1800's once sat. I had a fun day with alot of cool relics. I ended up with 12 wheats 1913 1916 and 4 1919 and some late 50s wheats 2 Rosie's. I found like 87 cents in clad. Once i found where the house used to site i started pulling up the relics. First was the Ball Mason Lid then this heavy ornate relic.

I posted it on a few sites to see if any one can ID but no luck. I Had a blast this morning. I know there is older coins there I was hoping for a Indian or older Silver. I mainly worked the front of her home. Ill be back later this fall. The husband walked around with me and talked to me about all this history. He showed me a bucket of flint he found and about 100 arrow heads he has surfaced found in the field. Then he tells me about the woods next to his home used to be a trading post there and a cemetery with no headstones.

Great hunt and sounds like it is going to get much better!!!! Find that trading post area and beat that place to death. Best of luck - Jim

Sure sounds like a fun place to hunt. Them older sites could hold a gold coin. Hunt the crap out of it. Good luck... KEN
